I graduated from Utah State University and lived in Utah for over 16 years. It was there that I developed a deep appreciation
of the beauty that nature displays in the mountains and canyons of the Rocky Mountain West.
Now I have found new vistas to paint in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
I most often work in oils, but occasionally apply my art with watercolor, pen and ink or pastels. I like to work from my minds- eye and develop the layout and content of my artwork from the many places and visuals I have experienced in my life.
